Registration

Step 1: Team Captains create your team:

• Online

Step 2: Once your team is set up, individuals can begin registering themselves:

• Online, or
• Print out and mail in a form

Individuals not part of a team may select the “Fit4Kids” team to represent the event’s official charity.

Bulk Registration

• If you’d like to pay for your employees to participate, purchase a bulk registration code.
• Verify who has registered using your code.

Bulk codes must be used before registration closes and there are no refunds for unused registrations.  If you’re not sure how many you’ll need, buy a smaller number and purchase more as needed.  Once a bulk registration entry has been used, it cannot be transferred to another person.

Packet Pick-up

Each Team Captain must pick up his or her team's race packets during one of the designated times (see schedule above). Individuals may also pick up their packet up at these times.

A photo ID is required for individual packet pick up. You may pick up a packet for someone else as well, provided you have a copy of their photo ID.

Rules

• Baby joggers/strollers, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs will be prohibited from the course.
• You must be 8 years old to participate. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
• NO ALCOHOL may be consumed before the event
• You may NOT bring outside alcohol
• Everyone must vacate the post-race area by 10 p.m. following the event

  • Transportation - Railroad, trucking, shipping, automobile dealerships, etc.
  • Insurance - Life, Health, Auto, HMO’s, PPO’s.
  • Sales, Retail and Hospitality - Businesses involved in retail or wholesale sales.
  • Manufacturing & Construction - Engineers, Architects, Any company involved in manufacturing or construction.
  • Military & Government - Any division or branch of the military and any goverment agency, city, state, or federal including education (public or private schools). Police, law enforcement, Fire and Rescue.
  • Media & Communications - Television, radio, newspaper and magazine, advertising, telephone, computers, paging companies, & electronics, and PR firms.
  • Miscellaneous - Any company or organization not fitting into one of the other divisions.

Greater Richmond Fit4Kids Recess Coaches 

Using energy, imagination, and proven techniques, Fit4Kids Recess Coaches cultivate an inclusive environment that encourages all children to be active and play during recess regardless of athletic ability, weight, or disability. With your support, the Fit4Kids Recess Coaching program will be launched at several schools in the greater Richmond area in September '12. Greater Richmond Fit4Kids is a non-profit organization created to improve the health and wellness of children by increasing physical activity and promoting healthy eating.
